Burglary on St Alban Road Bridlington.

Appeal for witnesses and to warn people to lock their doors at all times.

17 Jul 2017

Someone broke into a house on St Albans Road in Bridlington between 11pm on 9 July and 6am on 10 July.

It is thought that the intruder entered the house by an unlocked door and while in the house stole the contents of a handbag.

If anyone has information to help us with our enquiries please call the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 143 of 10/07/2017.

We would like to remind everyone that they should always close and lock their doors even when they are in the house and make sure their windows are closed when they leave.

Over a third of all burglaries are through the house-holder leaving their door unlocked, we know you should be able to do this but sadly opportunist thieves are always looking for an easy target.
