Witness appeal following collision

Brandesburton: Call 101 if you witnessed the incident.

We are appealing for witnesses after a 42-year-old man suffered serious injuries in a collision on Catwick Lane, Brandesburton shortly before 3.30pm on Friday 21 July.

The incident involved a heavy goods vehicle which overturned.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital by the air ambulance for treatment to serious injuries. He is currently in a critical condition.

RTC on Hessle Road

Hull: The cyclist who died in a collision on Hessle Road in Hull on Monday morning has been named as 42 year-old Craig Beharrell.

Craig, of East Hull, was involved in a collision with a truck and sadly died at the scene.

His family are being supported by specially trained officers and have asked to be left to grieve in peace.

Help us find Russell Harrison

Missing from Bridlington

We are involved in searches to locate 32 year old Russell Harrison reported missing from his home in Bridlington yesterday.

Russell was last seen just before mid-day yesterday when he left his home address in Hilderthorpe Rd, Bridlington and has not been heard from since.

We are concerned for Russell's welfare as it is believed he may require urgent medical attention.

National crime figures out today show a reduction in burglaries in Humberside.

Crime in England and wales: year ending March 2017.

Burglary in Humberside has fallen by 12% with 1,188 fewer crimes reported year on year to March 2017 according to figures released today (July 20) by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) ‘Crime in England and Wales’ report.

Business burgled

Driffield: Call 101 if you know who is responsible

We are appealing for information following a burglary at a mobile phone shop on Market Place, Driffield that happened between 5.30pm on Monday 10 July and 6am the following day.

In the incident damage was caused to various items in the business and cash was stolen.

Update on Joanne Hemingway murder investigation

Hull: Appeal following further arrests

Detectives continuing a murder investigation surrounding the death of Joanne Hemingway - following an incident in Hull’s Beverley Road on Thursday 29 June - have re-arrested two women.

The arrests of the women aged 52 and 34 follow the charging of 42 year old Glenn Foster of Beverley Road, Hull in connection with the incident.

Bridlington: The cyclist who died in a collision on the A614 at Bessingby Gate has been named as 18 Year-old Lewis Booth

Lewis, of Nafferton, was involved in a collision with a car on Sunday evening and sadly died in hospital on Monday afternoon.

His family are being supported by specially trained officers and have asked to be left to grieve in peace.

Boy bitten by dog

Beverley: Call 101 if you have any information about the incident

We’re appealing for information after a 9-year-old boy was bitten by a dog at around 5.30pm on Wednesday 12 July in Beverley.

The boy was walking with some friends along the footpath off Chester Avenue when he was bitten by a black Labrador cross.

The dog owner was described as being in his late 40s with grey hair, he was wearing a blue shirt and trousers.
