Following a disturbance on Selby Road in Snaith near Goole in the early hours of April 11, two people have been charged with offences.

Car crashes into wall

Hull: Driver charged with four motoring offences

At 9.30pm on Saturday April 18 Humberside Police officers were involved in a brief pursuit on Hessle Road in Hull after a white Ford Transit van allegedly failed to stop when requested to do so by a police patrol.

The vehicle collided with a wall on Walcott Street and the driver suffered some minor injuries which required hospital treatment.

Tragic death of PC Russ Wylie

Family release picture

The family have released a photograph of PC Russ Wylie (28) who died in a road traffic collision near Burstwick yesterday (April 13).

Russ is survived by his parents and fiancée Roxanne Hennebery.

The family are suffering a great loss and are devastated by the death of their loving son and fiancé.

Windows smashed in attack on house

Bridlington: Can you help officers find those responsible?

POLICE are appealing for witnesses and help in identifying the person responsible for throwing bricks through the windows of a house on Springfield Avenue at midnight on March 4.

The incident not only caused damage the windows of the property but smashed a fish tank within the living room.

Tragic Death of Police Officer

East Riding: A police officer has died following collision on B1362

The police officer critically injured in a road traffic collision near Burstwick on Monday April 13 sadly passed away at 10am today (Tuesday April 14).

PC Russ Wylie (28) was a roads policing officer based at Melton and worked predominantly on the south bank covering North and North East Lincolnshire.

Motorcyclist injured in RTC

East Riding: A165 near Fraisthorpe. Appeal for witnesses

A motorcyclist was injured following a collision at 5.20pm on April 12.

A Honda Estate car towing a caravan was in collision with a Honda NSC motorbike.

The motorbike rider, a man, was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB) is alerting businesses of a recent scam that has been operating in the United States.

The Dyre Wolf is a sophisticated fraud scheme that has netted more than $1 million from U.S companies.

The scam is run by an Eastern European gang of cyber criminals where people working for companies are targeted for their bank details.

Lincolnshire and Northumbria Officers Join Humberside

Humberside Police has appointed two new Assistant Chief Constables.

On Friday Chief Constable Justine Curran, in consultation with Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Grove, appointed Chief Superintendent Lee Freeman, currently of Lincolnshire Police and Chief Superintendent Gary Calvert, currently of Northumbria Police, into the posts.

Arrest following assault

Goole: Violent incident in Car park

Police were called to an altercation in a car park on Carlisle Street in Goole at 9.15am on Monday April 13.

One man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault.
