Fail to stop collision

Cleethorpes: call 101 if you witnessed the incident

A 14-year-old cyclist suffered minor injuries after she was in collision with a white car – which failed to stop - in Humberston Road, Cleethorpes.

The incident happened close to the roundabout with Taylor’s Avenue at around 3pm on Tuesday, May 9.

Two men arrested in connection with Renata Antczak disappearance

Hull: Enquiries are on-going as part of the missing person investigation

Today (Friday 19 May) we have arrested two men aged 45 and 47 in connection with the disappearance of 49-year-old Renata Antczak on 25 April.

The arrests follow new information about her disappearance coming to light as part of the investigation into her whereabouts.

In addition we are searching a number of addresses in Hull as part of on-going enquiries.

Spike in robbery offences

North East Lincolnshire: Help us prevent robbery offences by adopting prevention advice

There has been a spike in robbery offences in North East Lincolnshire and we are urging people to take steps to keep themselves and property safe.

Since the beginning of April there have been 30 robberies in the county with the majority involving mobile phones and cycles being taken.

Mobile phone stolen in theft

Grimsby: Call 101 if you saw the incident

We’re appealing for witnesses following a theft on Victoria Street Grimsby around 7.30pm on Sunday 14 May.

A 17-year-old boy (victim) was waiting at a bus stop when he was approached by another boy on a bike. The boy allegedly took a mobile phone from the victim before cycling away.

It was reported that the suspect cycled past three girls who then supported the victim.

We are therefore raising awareness of the illness as part of Dementia Awareness week, which is run by The Alzheimer’s Society.

We are conducting enquiries and appealing for information after a 16 year old boy was the victim of a robbery on Cartergate in Grimsby just before 10pm on Tuesday 16 May.

We’re seeking independent witnesses following an assault on Weelsby Street, Grimsby close to the junction with Harold Street around 1pm on Sunday 7 May.

It is reported that man threatened a 24-year-old woman before pushing her against a car.
