Appeal to trace man who exposed himself to girls in Goole

We were called yesterday at 4.30pm reporting that a man had indecently exposed himself to young girls on Fifth Avenue/St John's Court in Goole.

The man was described as white, aged 40-50 of medium build, short dark hair and he was wearing sun glasses. He was reported as riding a black race-style pedal cycle.

Over £60,000 seized from former Deep Retail Manager

Hull: The Deep is compensated following Proceeds of Crime Act investigation

A former retail manager who stole £89,000 from The Deep to fund his gambling addiction has been ordered to pay back more than £60,000 to the charity.

Jason Metcalfe, 45, of Hamlyn Avenue, Hull, stole the cash from two ‘penny press’ machines and put fake refunds through the tills of the gift shop.

Theft of buggy/pushchair

CCTV images released of two people we want to speak to about the theft of a pushchair from Mothercare on Kingston Park in Hull.

Can you help us identify these two people who we would like to speak to in relation to the theft of a grey Bugaboo Buffalo push chair at 5pm on 4 February 2014.

Jewellery stolen in burglary

A house on North Street, West Butterwick, Scunthorpe was broken into. Can you help us find stolen jewellery?

Between 4.30 and 4.50pm on 4 March someone broke into a house on North Street in West Butterwick.  The intruders smashed the front door and stole a number of items of jewellery.  9-carat-gold necklaces and rings, an 18-carat-gold diamond and sapphire ring and ear rings were taken.

Three arrested following drugs warrant

Brereton Avenue, Cleethorpes drugs warrant finds drugs, money and stolen goods

A drugs warrant was executed at a house on Brereton Avenue in Cleethorpes today.

A quantity of cash and amphetamine has been recovered from the property along with a large amount of what are believed to be stolen goods.

Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply (class A drugs), money laundering and handling stolen goods.

RTC on Grovehill Road

Road re-open

This morning we dealt with a single vehicle RTC on Grovehill Road when a beige Vauxhall Astra crashed into a house.

The house sustained damaged and there was a suspected gas leak.  There was a cordon in place and some residents were evacuated as a precaution.

There are thought to be two people injured both are though to have sustained minor injuries.

Independent witnesses wanted following assault

We’re seeking independent witnesses to a domestic incident on Victor Street, Grimsby around 6.30pm on Wednesday 8 March.

It is reported that there was an argument between a man and a woman which turned physical resulting in both people sustaining minor injuries.

Fatal house fire

Hull: The incident is not being treated as suspicious

Sadly a 31-year-old man has died at Hull Royal Infirmary following a serious house fire at a flat on Beverley Road, Hull this morning (Friday 10 March) and his family have been supported by specially trained officers.

We have conducted a joint investigation with Humberside Fire and Rescue Service into the circumstances and it is not being treated as arson.

Community safety action reduces Garth burglary issue

Hull: We will continue to hold further events to bring crime down further

Our burglary reduction initiative in the Garths area of Bransholme in Hull, which is made up of 2,500 properties, has led to 38 per cent reduction in shed and garage burglaries in the area.

Prior to the scheme the area was classed as a long-term burglary hotspot for thieves targeting sheds and garages.
