Unexplained death off David Street

Grimsby: Anyone who can assist in clarifying the circumstances should call 101

We were called by the ambulance service at 6.29am today (Sunday 5 March) after a man was found dead along an alley way off David Street, Grimsby.

A cordon has been put in place whilst we establish the circumstances of his death. It appears to be unexplained and the man hasn’t been identified at this time.

Man charged following aggravated vehicle taking incidents

Hull/East Yorkshire: He has been charged with 12 alleged offences

Tonight (Saturday 4 March) 23-year-old Leon Ndenu of no fixed address was charged with four counts of robbery, four counts of attempted robbery, two counts of assault with intent to rob, possession of an imitation firearm whilst committing a schedule one offence and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Grimsby: Thanks to all who shared the appeal

We are delighted to confirm that 66-Year-old Grimsby man Trevor George has been found safe and well this morning. He went missing yesterday and we had real concerns about him.

We would like to thank the public and media for sharing our appeal.

A 23-year-old man remains in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery after four cars were stolen in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire yesterday morning (Friday 3 March).

Woman's rings stolen

Goole: Can you help trace offenders?

We are investigating claims a woman had four rings stolen by a couple in a black car in Goole.

The incident happened between 4.14pm and 4.30pm yesterday (Thursday, March 2) in Second Avenue, when the victim was approached by a man and woman in a small black car.

Did you see collision?

Kingswood: Appeal for witnesses launched

A pedestrian has suffered potentially life-threatening injuries following a collision with a car in John Newton Way, Hull, last night.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Thursday, March 2, and involved a 31-year-old man – whose family has asked is not named at this time - and a grey Ford S Max.

Young people gear up for the Night Challenge

Humberside: They’ll learn about child sexual exploitation over six challenges during the 13 mile hike

Tomorrow night (Saturday 4 March) over 100 young people, aged between 13 and 18, from across Humberside will be competing as teams to complete a 13 mile trek overnight through the challenging terrain of Brantingham Dale as part of Humberside Police's Night Challenge.

We are currently responding to a number of aggravated vehicle thefts in the Hull and Hedon this morning.

This has led to a number of road closures and numerous police resources being deployed.

Enquiries are ongoing  and if anyone has information that may be linked they are urged to call 101.
