Witness appeal following assault

Grimsby: Call 101 if you saw anything suspicious

We are appealing for witnesses after an assualt in Grimsby around 7am on Friday 17 February.

An 18-year-old woman was approached by a man known to her and assaulted on Victor Street, before being followed by the man and assaulted again on Hilda Street.

She suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Sad death of woman following collision

Withernsea: Appeal for witnesses

A 77-year-old woman has sadly died following a single vehicle collision on Louville Avenue, Withernsea last month.

The woman, whose family has asked is not named, passed away in hospital last week following the collision on Friday 17 February.

Our teams who led the search for 17-year-old Zoe - who had last been seen at her home in Hull on Saturday, February 25 - would like to thank all those who shared our appeal and contacted us with information.

Wanted man arrested and charged

Hull: He was charged with two alleged thefts

23-year-old Kai Donkin of Abbey Street, Hull was arrested on Monday 27 February and charged with  two counts of shop theft.

He was released on conditional bail and will appear at Hull Magistrates Court on Monday 27 March.

He was located and arrested following a police wanted person appeal and we would like to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Concern growing for missing teen

Hull: Zoe - please get in touch to let someone know you're safe

Tonight we’re urgently appealing for missing 17-year-old Zoe Corrigan to get in touch and let us or her family know she is safe.

Zoe was last seen at her home in Hull on Saturday, February 25, when she left to go to a party in the Kingswood area and later said she was staying over at a friend’s.

Since then, no one has been able to contact her and she’s not returned home.

Body of man discovered

Cottingham: Death is not believd to be suspicious

Today we have sadly found the body of an elderly man in the Cottingham area.

The death is not believed to be suspicious and no further details can be confirmed at this time.

The family of Clive Reynolds has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Appeal to trace next of kin

Grimsby: Do you know the family of Eric Diffey?

Efforts are being made to trace the next of kin or any relatives of Eric Diffey who died recently at Grimsby’s Diana Princess of Wales Hospital.

Mr Diffey, who was 74 years old lived in Beeley Road, Grimsby. He passed away on February 11.

Help us locate robbery victim

Grimsby: The victim or witnesses are encouraged to call 101

We are appealing for the victim of a unreported robbery in Grimsby on Sunday 26 February to come forward and speak to us.

At around 1.50am, an unknown man was on the forecourt at the Esso Petrol Station, Albion Street when he was assaulted by an unknown offender. The offender then allegedly took items from the victims pockets before leaving the area on a pedal cycle.

Woman assaulted in street

Grimsby: Are you one of the two people who went to her aid?

Did you go to the aid of a woman who was being assaulted by a man in Railway Street, Grimsby, yesterday?

We are hoping to trace two people who helped the woman at around 3pm on Monday, February 27.

The first intervened after a man known to her pinned her against a wall, allowing her to walk away in the direction of the pedestrain footbridge.

Do you know this man?

We are keen to speak to him after DVDs and computer games were stolen from the Tesco store in Morton Lane, Beverley, on three separate occasions.

The first happened on Wednesday, January 11, at around 2pm, when two DVD boxsets were stolen.

Bridlington: Pair jailed for stealing from firm to sell via Ebay

A warehouse manager who stole designer leather goods from his employer and a woman who sold them on via Ebay have been jailed.

Mark Johnson, 47, of Windsor Crescent, Bridlington, was jailed for 12 months after admitting the theft goods valued at £24,242 from 7 Vision Ltd, Driffield, between April 2014 and April 2016.
